Sister Study Volunteers
RACHEL KING

Rachel King
Rachel King has been a Sister Study participant since late 2004 and loyal Dallas volunteer, helping us recruit other women in her area. Rachel lost her sister Tricia to breast cancer and as soon as she heard about the Sister Study, she signed right up! See Rachel's complete sister story by clicking here. For over 16 years Rachel has been a hard working "car hop" at "Keller's Drive-In Restaurant." What is amazing about Rachel is that she finds every opportunity to promote the Sister Study. In the course of her work at the drive-in Rachel goes out of her way to tell other women who she sees wearing a pink ribbon or displaying one on their cars about the study, asking whether they may have sisters who can join the study. This recruitment effort exemplifies our study motto of "Woman by woman, sister by sister, we will make a difference"! Rachel has brochures on hand to share with women who may either be eligible or who may have a sister. She also has a Sister Study link on her eclectic web site www.shadesoftracy.com/tricia.html where topics ranging from her love for country star Tracy Lawrence, recipes, breast cancer education and a special tribute to her sister Tricia, are displayed. Please join us in congratulating Rachel King as our current Sister Study Volunteer Spotlight! Thank you Rachel for all you do!
